ClickClack is a stalwart in homes throughout New Zealand and around the world. As part of their growth strategy, they introduced a range of three new kitchen appliances. They needed a national outdoor campaign to support their traditional and digital media, but one that leaned into New Zealand humour to reinforce their roots in the minds and hearts of Kiwi consumers. A bit cheeky, they said.

The Ask
The Task
Three new appliances, each requiring a presence to build awareness among the general public. Each billboard concept had to:
Grab attention
Raise a smile
Show the product
Tie it to the ClickClack brand
Oh, and do it all in seven seconds.
The End Game
We devised a way of quickly and cheekily demonstrating core product features or benefits that could be understood at a glance. As a bonus, we considered travel locations such as railway stations and airports, using the reader’s likely frame of mind to our advantage.
The Results
104 variants of still and animated images were supplied to two media agencies. The campaign is now running nationally, in support of traditional and digital placements.
